Ron Marlett's younger brother Rich was a tank driver during his career in the Army. He specialized in driving the M60 Main Battle Tank which was an improved descendent of the M48 Patton Tank. In rain or shine, visiting the firing range was one of the main activities that tank crews engaged in during maneuvers. This photograph was taken of Rich while he waited to drive his tank into firing position. |
