Ron Marlett's sister Glennis celebrated her 16th birthday at the Palms apartment several months before the family bought their home in Canoga Park. Ron's mother Vera invested many hours in decorating the dinning room table with birthday related themes until the kids became teenagers. In this picture, the only effort Vera made was baking a homemade cheesecake that Glennis wanted for her birthday cake. |
