Ron Marlett began caring for his friend Anthony's parents in 2015. In
the fall of 2018, Ron painted this small portrait of Anthony's
grandmather. The painting was done on a small canvas board as a
Christmas gift for Anthony's father John Mack. Ron used an old
photograpgh that was taken of Dorothy Merigold in her wedding dress
when she was 18-years old. The following year Ron did a portrait of John
and Sidney's daughter as a Christmas gift for Sydney. These
small portraits became popular with the Mack family, so Ron continued
to create the small paintings as gifts for the Macks during their Christmas celebrations. Return to Gallery |
