Ron Marlett working in his studio.

2000

In the studio of his Camarillo residence, Ron Marlett completes the under painting to his piece Still Life at Middleton. At this point in the painting's creation, Ron is still faced with an additional 800 hours of work with the painting's shadowing and simulated texture stages. Half way through the painting's production, Ron set it aside to work on portrait commissions. More than a decade later, Ron placed the painting back on his easel in hopes of finishing the large still life.
