Two weeks before Ron Marlett was transferred to the 14th Coast Guard District Office, Ron was assigned to the USCGC Winnebago's galley. His galley duties included cleaning the deck and tables before and after meals. At the end of the day, Ron would take the garbage out to the dumpster. This candid photograph of Ron talking with another coastguardsman was taken by a coastguardsman who was passing by. Three years later, the photographer stopped by Ron's office and gave him the picture.
