Ron Marlett took leave one last time before leaving the Coast Guard. Ron spent his time at the family home in Westlake Village, California helping his parents paint the house. Ron also did some surfing and made arrangements for his planned trip to Tahiti after his discharge from the Coast Guard in February 1974. At the end of his vacation, Ron's mother took this picture of Ron waiting to leave for the Los Angeles Airport. |
