From left to right is Ron Marlett's younger brother Rich, Ron's parents Vera and Howard, and Ron. After graduating from boot camp in early April, Ron had a week-long leave that he spent with his family. Ron's parents drove him around San Francsico for some sight-seeing and after dinner, they visited Howard's cousin who lived in Oakland. Ron was very proud to be in the Coast Guard and always wore his uniform when he took leave during his four years of active service. |
