On the way back from a family reunion in Portland, Oregon, Ron Marlett's cousin Linda took this candid shot of Ron collecting information for his impressionism seascapes. Ron lost interest in plein air painting during his last trip to Tahiti in 1978. He now uses photography as his sketch book and creates the paintings in his studio. |
