Ron Marlett and his friend from Tahiti, James Buchin, play traditional Tahitian drum music at the Westlake Village home in 1979. Ron became skilled at playing the pahu and toere, which helped him find employment in Tevahine Blake’s Tahitian Dance group from Woodland Hills, California, and the Goupil’s Manuia Tahiti dance group from Huntington Beach, California. |
