Ron Marlett and his younger brother Rich visiting the Lady Washington when she was tied up at the Ventura Harbor. The Lady Washington was used as the HMS Interceptor in Disney's film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). On Ron's birthday, Rich would take him to visit historical ships and museums. One of the ships that Rich took Ron to visit was a replica of the HMS Bounty which was built for the film The Bounty (1984). |
