Ron Marlett's younger brother Rich standing next to one of the tanks in his company at the Friedberg Training Area. During times when the tanks sat idle, guard duty was shared by the crew members. This picture was taken of Rich while he was making the rounds during his guard duty. Rich wrote in his memoirs about how the cold air , rain, and mud were a costant hindrance to a soldiers morale in Germany. |
