Ron Marlett and his brother Rich visiting the Lady Washington when she was tied up at the Ventura Harbor. The Lady Washington was used as the HMS Interceptor in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). On Ron's birthday, Rich would take him to visit historical ships and maritime museums. One of the ships that Ron and Rich visited was a replica of the HMS Bounty which was used in the film The Bounty (1984). |
