Ron Marlett's friend Anthony Mack gave Ron a lesson on how to take photographs of his model ships so that the pictures would have a wide depth of field. To photograph Ron's model of the USS Oregon, Anthony used a Nikkon D300 with an AF-S Nikkor 18 - 200mm lens mounted on a tripod. Ron sent the pictures to Adobe Photoshop so that he could render the backgrounds an even gray color before posting the pictures on his website. |
