Ron Marlett's friend John Mack and Ron made an accord to exchange John's car for the construction of a 1/84 scale model of the HMS Victory. Ron began construction of the plank on frame model in May of 2015. In this picture Ron is preparing one of the ribs that will fit into the model's internal keel. When Ron began the wooden model kit by DeAgostini Model Space, he thought it would only take a year to build. He quickly realised that building a large wooden plank on frame model ship would take many years.
