Ron Marlett's friend John Mack holds the 1/84 scale model of the HMS Victory that Ron was building for him in exchange for John's car. The picture was taken one year after Ron began building the model in May of 2015. This picture shows the progress Ron made after spending 802 hours of bending and shaping planks that were attached to the ship's ribs. The gunports were measured and cut out using a small drill, a razor knife, and a file.
