Ron Marlett used the internet to find information about the HMS Victory. Every step in the model's build required references from the real ship in Portsmouth, England. In this picture Ron is studying images of the Victory's gunports. YouTube was very useful in providing tutorial videos made by other modelers who were building the same 1/84 scale Victory. Ron also purchased a number of books that had architectural drawings and measurements of the Victory. |
