Within two years of joining the Sea Explorers, Ron Marlett became a Quartermaster, the highest rank for Sea Scouts. Ron was now incharge of the weekly meetings when his father could not attend. Ron was also in charge of training the Sea Scouts in Ship 469 so their Ship could compete against other Ships in the biannual Sea Explorer Regattas. Several months after this picture was taken, Ron quit the Sea Explorers so that he could spend more time surfing. |
