Ron Marlett's first attempt at portraiture was of a baseball player drawn on the inside of his Bambi book. Ron's parents considered the drawing to be a self portrait, because Ron was very interested in playing baseball. Most of Ron's drawings at this time were of baseball players engaged in playing the game with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. |
