Ron Marlett took this picture of Catherine Bottiau and her family at his home in Moorpark, California. On the wall behind Cathey is one of Ron's abstract paintings called Splash (1988). Cathey was one of Ron's art students who became a successful artist in Florida. She focused her career on realistic landscapes and portraits painted with transparent oil colors.
