Ron Marlett's mother became involved in the Camarillo Garden Club as a way of sharing her knowledge with other club members. The club also furnished Vera with an important social outlet. Ron took this picture of Vera and one of her many friends at the club's Christmas party. Ron also took Vera on garden tours in Westlake Village and Pasedena. Their favorite tour was the Pasedena Holiday Look In Home Tour which featured historic homes, gardens, interior design, holiday decorations, and musicians playing Christmas music.
