Ron Marlett became friends with Merrie Sawicky at Canoga Park High School. They both had an interest in art and remembered the art classes as a place where the art students listened to Judy Collins singing Both Sides Now, and painted on the tables with their Hyplar acrylic paints, that when dried, were easily peeled off to make rubbery bits of amusement. One art teacher that was highly respected by the students was Mr Keel who taught art appreciation. |
