One of Ron Marlett's activities was to drive his parents to the different gardens in Los Angeles. The Descanso Gardens and the Huntington Library were two of the Marletts favorite gardens because of the original art that was on display in their galleries. Ron took this picture of his parents Vera and Howard while dining at the Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. After lunch they walked up the pathway to the Boddy House Heritage Art Gallery to view an exhibition of floral paintings.
