Ron Marlett holds Tuffy on the side yard of the family's home in Portland, Oregon. On that Saturday morning, Ron decided to dress Tuffy with doll clothes. Ron was unable to put the clothes on the cat, but he did manage to place the doll's hat on Tuffy's head because the hat had an elastic chinstrap that kept it on the cat's head. Behind Ron is the neighbor's house which reflects the typical design of middle class homes in that area during the 1950s. |
