This picture of Ron Marlett was taken in September shortly after he returned from his first sixth-month stay in Tahiti. Ron did most of his surfing in the morning so he was always wearing his swim trucks around the house. One of the responsibilities Ron had at his parents' home was to help his mom in the garden. Ron's mother Vera wanted to take a picture of Ron and Cheeny in the garden, but Cheeny was hidden by all the plants, so Ron held Cheeny in his arms. |
